Crestwood Home Services started in 2005 in a single-bay garage off NE Sandy with one truck, a borrowed snake camera, and three brothers who were tired of how local contractors were treating people. Tom had just finished his master plumber apprenticeship. Mike was wiring panels for a commercial outfit downtown. Andy was working HVAC for a national chain and watching customers get nickel-and-dimed every day.
They made a list of rules on a napkin at the Pinecone Tavern: flat-rate quote before any work starts, show up in the window we promised, never leave a job site dirtier than we found it, and stand behind the work for two full years. Twenty years later, every one of those rules is still on the wall in the shop.
Word got around the neighborhood. One leaky water heater turned into a kitchen remodel turned into a whole-house repipe. By 2010 we had four trucks. By 2015 we'd added electrical and HVAC under one roof so customers wouldn't have to juggle three contractors for a single project. Today our crew of fifteen serves the entire Portland metro from Beaverton to Gresham, and we still treat every job like it's our own house — because most weekends, it actually is.
We're still family-owned. The owners still run jobs when things get busy. And the cell numbers on our trucks still ring straight through after hours when something goes wrong at 2 AM. That part isn't changing.

Tom has held a master plumber license for 22 years and still runs the truck on big repipes and after-hours emergencies. He's the brother who answers the cell on Sunday morning when your basement is filling up.

Mike heads the electrical side. NABCEP-certified for solar and EV charger work, OSHA 30, and the brother who reads the entire NEC code revision the week it drops. If a panel makes a noise it shouldn't, send Mike.

Andy can diagnose a furnace from across the basement just by listening to it kick on. NATE-certified, EPA Universal, and the one we send when three other techs have already given up.
